About Green Zebra
Green Zebra Concierge had a funny way of beginning back in 2005. At the time, I was a student eager to make my way through Wichita State’s Barton School of Business, pursuing a Bachelors degree in Entrepreneurship. My fervor had always been business; seen from the time I started a small lawn care service around my neighborhood at a young age, and growing it into Green Zebra Landscape management with over 60 clients by the time I was a student at WSU.
One particular morning, like many times before, I got a call from my encouraging mother claiming she has another business idea for me. “Go check out Good Morning America,” she said ambitiously. “They just did a spot on a company that does errands and, well all kinds of things, and I think they call them concierges.” Upon further research, I thought this might be for me and ideal for many of my current clients.
Determined to see this new idea play out, I put together a small business plan for myself. However, I was asked to enter it into the inaugural WSU Business plan competition where it did surprisingly well. Notable companies from around the community approached me with business cards in hand saying to call when the company launched, they wanted in. This was just what I needed! I decided to sell my landscape company and jump feet first into the new venture, building the best concierge company Wichita has seen!
We work with the tired, stressed and ultra busy individuals and families but also over-stressed employees of our corporate members. We have all the insurances and bonding in the world but we have found that most clients don’t let us into their lives with out trust. So our goal is to build your trust and gain your friendship so you’re calling a friend to help.
